FALI has a Board of Directors made up of 13 Area Directors, the FALI President and 7 Executive Officers.

FALI currently employes Ben Poitevent, Esq., of Tallahassee, as a full time Lobbyist. Mr Poitevent represents FALI before government agencies and staff on regulatory issues as well as before the Florida legislature for assessment of proposed legislation.

Through our lobbyist, FALI supports legislation that requires continuing education credits as a condition of license renewal. There is also legislation that requires an examination for licensing. These measures will ensure a higher caliber of investigator within Florida and would directly benefit clients.
